Upcoming Workshops

Elaine Ingham’s workshops are packed with useful information presented in a setting that allows ample discussion with Dr. Ingham about her vast experience in applying soil ecology to agriculture and soil management. We hope to see you there.

Watch this space for information on microscope classes and compost-tea workshops, to be held in various locations in Eastern Canada this summer and fall.

As an educational outreach and training company, we offer workshops, seminars, and training programs, so that our customers can develop their own expertise. This reduces their costs and their dependency on outside suppliers. The main tools in the soil foodweb arsenal are compost, vermicomposts, compost tea, microbe foods Dr. Ingam(such as humates and kelp) and specific microbe inoculants (such as mycorrhizal fungi spores). Our educational outreach programs will show the grower or turf manager how to make their own compost or vermicompost, brew their own compost teas, and where to find and how to use the various other inputs they may need in their program. For those who don’t want to make their own inputs, we show them how to identify the types of products they need and how to ensure that they will do the job they are supposed to do. We also provide assessments of the various types and makes of equipment, such as tea brewers, provided to us by Dr. Ingham’s on-going research and assessment work.
